Fire Safety Training Program
The Kenner Fire Department launched its Safety Training Program on October 30, 2018 after a structure fire left a family homeless. Centering around preventable problems they have identified on calls for assistance in Kenner, issues where there are opportunities for residents to make simple changes that can improve the quality of life and safety are presented for viewing.
When fire companies respond to medical calls, rescue calls on the lake, backyard issues with pools or barbeques, there are things they see to help the Kenner community reduce risk and become a more safe neighborhood.
You can submit topics of interest to email@example.com for KFD to add to the educational videos. In addition to these videos, the Smoke House can be brought to a school or children's event to show them how to get to a safe place in case of a fire; send an email if you are interested about that program or complete the Smoke House Form to request a visit to your event.
