*LIFTED 6/10* Boil Water Advisory Issued on Eastbank of Jefferson Parish

Jefferson Parish Water Department has issued a Boil Water Advisory for the east bank of Jefferson Parish as a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the distribution system due power surges at the water treatment plant.
This boil water advisory will remain in effect until rescinded by the Jefferson Parish Water Department or the LDH. Bacteriological samples from the distribution system will be collected and analyzed to assure the water meets potable water standards.
