Kenner Food Bank

  1. 1 Make a difference (1)

Welcome to the Kenner Food Bank - Providing food and other essential services to those in need.

Food insecurity doesn’t always look like what you’d expect. It affects neighbors, coworkers, classmates, even our closest friends and family. At the Kenner Food Bank, we recognize that anyone can fall on hard times, and we’re here to help.

What We Do

The Kenner Food Bank, funded in part by the City of Kenner, works to provide emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need. We know food insecurity doesn’t discriminate. It affects people we love, grandparents, students, single parents, veterans, and neighbors.

Every month, we serve over 350 families in Kenner who need support feeding their households. Including elderly residents, individuals experiencing homelessness, and low-income households. We’re more than a food bank. We’re a bridge to hope, stability, and community. Whether you need help or are looking for ways to support others, we’re here to serve with dignity, respect, and hope.

Our Community Impact

Every Meal Matters

Each month, we serve over 350 families through the Kenner Food Bank. Behind each number is a story of resilience and need.

Caring for Kenner Together

  • Over 4,000 individuals reached in 2024
  • Ongoing collaboration with local partners, including Entergy, Lamarque Ford, Healthy Blue, and faith-based groups
  • Increased demand due to rising costs and reduced federal funding

The Faces Behind the Numbers

Every number represents a neighbor. In 2024 alone, we served more than 4,000 individuals, each with a unique story and a deep need for compassion. We may be their first stop, but we aim to be their turning point.
