How to Apply

Create an account to apply online. Each applicant must have his or her own individual email address when setting up an account. Do not share your account with anyone.  You must enter your User Name and Password each time exactly as they were entered when you set up your account; therefore, pay close attention to uppercase/lowercase letters, spaces, and special characters.

You can only apply for currently posted job listings; however, you are encouraged to fill out an online job interest card with Kenner.  This feature provides you with the opportunity to select Kenner job categories that interest you, which will generate automatic emails when a new position opens up.

Applicants can update their applicant information (work experience, education, etc.) by editing their Applicant Profile via the Applicant Portal. The changes made will not be reflected on applications submitted in the past.

Thank you for your interest in employment with the City of Kenner.

Delay in the Mail: The Kenner Civil Service Department cannot accept responsibility for the failure of the applicant to receive an admission slip to an examination, or for the failure of the Department to receive material mailed by the applicant.

Read and follow the instructions as given in the posting. Applications may be rejected if incomplete or if you provide false information.

The Kenner Civil Service Department does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in its programs or activities.
