Kenner, LA — The City of Kenner, under the leadership of Mayor Mike Glaser, has secured $8.092 million in federal funding through the Environmental Protection Agency’s STAG–Clean Water State Revolving Fund, a key component of the Interior and Environment Appropriations bill’s Community Project Funding/Congressionally DirectedSpending program. This significant investment was made possible through Mayor Glaser’s collaborative efforts with U.S. Senators John Kennedy and Bill Cassidy, who secured $7 million, and U.S. Representative Troy Carter, who secured an additional$1.092 million for the City of Kenner. The funding will support vital repairs and upgrades to Kenner’s extremely aged sewer infrastructure as well as critical upgrades to Kenner’s Wastewater Treatment Facility, ensuring long-term reliability, environmental protection, and enhanced quality of life for Kenner residents.
