Emergency Response & Fire Safety

The City of Kenner Fire Department (KFD) is committed to protecting lives, property, and the well-being of our community. Guided by Fire Chief Terence N. Morris and Mayor Michael J. Glaser, our department combines tradition, training, and advanced technology to provide the highest level of public safety.

With six neighborhood fire stations, highly skilled firefighters, and specialized equipment, the Kenner Fire Department responds swiftly to emergencies, whether it’s a fire, medical crisis, or natural disaster. Every day, we stand ready to serve with professionalism, dedication, and pride.

Types of Calls We Respond To

The Kenner Fire Department responds to a wide range of emergencies, including:

  • Structure Fires
  • Vehicle Fires & Rescues
  • Medical Emergencies (vehicle accidents with extrication, EMS backup)
