This is Barth’s second sculpture in Kenner, with her CANNES BRULEE on display along Power Blvd. The Discovery of Art is built of 1/8 aluminum plating, welded over an aluminum tube structure. The brilliant colors in this sculpture were hand painted by the artist, with the palette reaching 8 feet in height. The two giant paintbrushes stand more than 210 feet in height, with a total weight of more than 1,000 pounds.
