Residents with disabilities CURRENTLY receiving specialized accommodations for both garbage and recycling services do not need to do anything. Waste Pro will deliver a handicapped can to the residences on its list. Please note that the list of addresses provided to Waste Pro is unfortunately somewhat dated. Therefore, we ask for patience as they work through it and if you do not receive a handicapped can and you are already enrolled in this service, please call 504-468-7240 or email COKCommunications@kenner.la.us.

The green recycling bin should be used for current curbside recycling services provided by Ramelli Janitorial Services. Ramelli will continue to provide supplemental services including curbside recycling and drop site management.

We are asking residents to confirm their participation in the recycling program by emailing COKCommunications@Kenner.La.US to ensure that all who wish to recycle are included. Please include your service address. If you do not receive a response or recycling container within 3 days of sending the email, please call our office at (504) 468-7240.

The city will only provides one recycling container that is included with curbside collection services. However, alternative options can include utilizing the previously used small green recycling bins for overflow, or you may purchase your own recycling bin. The recycling cart must have “RECYCLING” written on the container. Simply place it next to your Kenner recycling bin on your regular recycling day, which is the 2nd day of your garbage pickup day.

If you're recycling is contaminated, it will not be collected. An "oops" card will be issued by Ramelli Waste that explains the proper way to recycle your items and why the recycling materials were not picked up.
