The City of Kenner maintains comprehensive plans that complement and coordinate with Jefferson Parish’s procedures for emergency operations. It is important that citizens are aware of the proper steps to take during an emergency.
On this page, you can view brochures for important information concerning the City of Kenner storm procedures. These documents are designed to be printed out on a single 8.5"x11" sheet of paper to produce a double-sided, tri-fold color brochure.

- Report Hurricane Damage at Damage.LA.Gov If your home or property has been affected by a hurricane or other severe weather event, you can report the damage directly through Damage.LA.Gov. This tool, created by the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP), allows Louisiana residents to self-report damage from hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, wildfires, and winter storms.

Submitting a damage report helps local, state, and federal officials assess the full impact of a disaster in your area. These reports play a key role in determining the need for emergency resources and can speed up the process for receiving aid and recovery assistance.
