Butler is an LSU Fine Arts graduate, and his work as an automotive painter helped develop his work and style as an artist. He uses a self-taught technique of painting using rags instead of paint brushes. This sculpture is constructed of ¼ inch aluminum painted with automotive paints and clear coated. It stands 9 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
