City Holidays
The City of Kenner's administrative offices will be closed on designated holidays in observance of city-wide closures. Please be advised that these closures include the Mayor’s Court, the Clerk of Court’s Office, as well as the Kenner Food Bank. Recreation activities, including free play, will be suspended during holiday periods and office closures. Regularly scheduled garbage collection will take place. Kenner Administrative Offices will reopen on the next business day following each holiday closure.

Holiday Garbage Collection Schedule
The following holidays will be observed for residents receiving curbside garbage collection services:
- New Year's Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
There will be no garbage collection on the holiday and there is no makeup day for the missed collection; Garbage will not be picked up until your next scheduled collection day.
